Garage Sale

Addison, Ada and I went to our friends Anson and Miho's on Saturday with a load of our miscellaneous goods for their Garage sale. We had our trailer full, plus the back of our Expedition. You name it- we had it right down to the kitchen sink (literally). It sure was a hot day, but it felt good to get rid of our junk. We only brought back a few things- most of which I went straight to the D.I. with. Addison is notorious for his "Rock Sales" on the side of our road. He and his Grandpa Don go "Rock Hunting often and find real treasures like: fossils, petrified wood, crystals, unique and beautiful ones, etc. He brought his collection to sell at the garage sale ( I thought it wouldn't hurt and if he really wanted to try- no harm done). He sold over $12.00 worth of rocks, most were only $.25. He was happy with the results. Ada spent most of the day in a shaded tent eating bagels and taking the money (what a life!).

How much did Addison make selling rocks? I still have a lot of pieces of petrefied wood, if he wants them.

He made over $12.00. The funny thing is- they were legitimate sales. Mostly University Folk and people that also collect rocks for there rock gardens and ponds.
