Mexican Riviera

Ammon and I were invited to join some friends on a cruise to celebrate their anniversary.  We can't pass up a cruise.  They are always a good get-a-way from the hustle of life. We flew to LA and sailed out of Long Beach to Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta.

The pictures are in random order......

 Puerto Vallarta

Gearing up of the zip lines in Puerto Vallarta.  We did eleven zip lines high in the jungle trees.  So fun!

Playing in the river after the zip lines.  It was a welcomed cool-down from the hot humid heat.

Ammon and I were called up to play the "Newlywed Game".  It made for a good laugh.

Dinner with the Larsen's every night in the Black Pearl was always great!

Cave on Lovers Beach

We enjoyed listening the the musicians each night.  This guy "Tommy Green Jr." is especially good.  He has such and awesome talent and voice.  We bought his CD and Ammon insisted on a picture with him just incase he is famous one day.  He really is that good.

We had so much fun and it was great to go with some friends.  They are really fun to be with and we have a lot in common. It really is good for Ammon and I to get a way together and spend time with just the two of us. However,  I hope to slow Ammon down for a couple of years and wait to go on our next cruise with the kids before Addison leaves for his mission.  No promises though..... Ammon is a sucker for a good deal and a fun time.  I kinda enjoy it too!

Bainbridge Island

Just returned from a four day trip on Bainbridge Island, Washington in celebration of Amy and Bryan's wedding.  It was a trip of preparation and bonding.  We did a little site seeing and shopping, but for the most part it was about the wedding.  It turned out wonderful.

The pictures are in random order- the days seemed to all run together anyway.

Here we are putting wreaths together for the girls the night before the wedding.
