Snow Play

Spring falsely came and went. The only - well, okay one of only two benefits of snow is to play in it. The other being the moisture. I personally don't like winter much at all and that being said- don't spend much time playing in it. However, today I repented a bit. I decided to be a better mother and make the effort to get out in the wet stuff. It was the right kind of snow for a snowman, so I invited my kids to come outside with me and help me build a snowman. Ammon came out to lend a hand too! Addison helped for a bit until his hands were too wet and Avery opted out of the adventure. So, Ammon, Ada and I finished our odd shaped snowman together.

Once "Snowman" was done, Addison got out his "Ski-bike" and asked Ammon to pull him around for a bit on our four wheeler. Ada loved tagging along on back.
After a while, it was Ammon's turn to give it a go. It was a good day to play in the snow. family time is always important and I am glad that we have some space around our home that allows us to do these fun things. We sure are blessed.

After we had come in and put all our gear away, Avery decided that he now wanted to go outside and play in the snow. So, he did. He played with Addison for a while and between the two of them, they decided to mature "snowman" a little. He became a real man and grew armpit hair. Those boys!

I've done my good deed now concerning the snow. Now, I need the spring to come so that I can be outside more....only, planting flowers instead.
