Mothers Day this year was great one. I woke up and came down stairs to find beautiful tulips from Addison, notes and posters from Ada and Avery. As we were getting ready for church,
Ammon asked me if I had left my computer on from the night before. I went to check and found it on with a couple of "e-cards" waiting for me along with the book "Praise Of Stay-at-Home Moms". I am not the biggest fan of Dr. Laura, but the fact that we ( stay at home moms) are praised and he wanted to show me how much he appreciated it, meant a lot. Technically, I do work. I am so fortunate that my job is at the school with my children and I am home every minute that they are. I run them to their activities and I help them with their homework. I am so thankful for the job I have, that it allows me do this. I am also thankful for a husband that has provided so well that I don't have to worry about needing to work. I work because I love kids and I love helping in the schools anyway. Trust me- It's not for the money ( we are so underpaid) I am learning so much and have a TREMENDOUS appreciation for educators. It is not the easiest job and it is so underpaid.
Ammon fixed a wonderful meal for dinner that we were able to share with my parents( I forgot to get pictures of the guest of honor- MY MOM). The kids love having them over. Grandpa told stories to Ada as they snuggled on the hammock, we did a small sewing project for mom and we visited and spent some time together. The weather was perfect. To top the day off, we got the kids to bed around 9:00 then
Ammon and I snuggled up and watched a movie. Thanks for a great day family. I love you all very much and I am so fortunate to be a mom of the best three kids ever and married to my best friend.
