Working In The Hamburger Stand

Addison and I worked in the Hamburger stand at the Fairgrounds during the Cruise-In. It was fun- the kids really seem to like that role and responsibility. It was a fundraiser for our youth in our ward. It brought back the memories of working in the booth at the Fairgrounds in Montpelier. Remember that boys? Doughnuts, Corn on the Cob, Leonhardts pop and little milk cartons. What do you remember about it?

I remember all that and more. Sometime, sicne I often had a major responsibility for it I thought it was a pain, Looking back I now have fopnd memories and wish we did more things like that. We could get people to work in the Fair Stand who would never do anything elsein the church. Good people who just felt comfortable in a little different role. What's the primary song?
"When You're helping you're happy."

Dad- do you remember when we were working in the one closest to the rodeo, I worked in there with Dr. Hammond. I thought that he was so cute- I had a lttle crush on him. How embarassing! He was only 20 years older than me. Funny!
