Ammon and his buddies usually go for at least one Mountain Bike Ride a week, sometimes two. Last week they headed up to Richards Hollow up Blacksmith Fork Canyon. It was a 15 mile ride which ended up taking longer than they anticipated. They had to fight their way through a herd of cows in the dark as they rode their way back to their cars. They didn't get home until almost 11:00. They will know for the next time to go earlier and bring a horn to scare off the cows! The scenery looks beautiful. Addison was able to tag along on this run. He did really good. He walked some of the way, but for the most part kept up pretty good. He begs Ammon to let him go every time. Ammon finally gave in on this ride. Probably not the best ride for kids, but it toughens him up. Right! Riding actually helps Ammon's back hurt not so much since he broke it last summer. I think it's the stretching out that relieves the pain, etc. So, I am all for him going on these rides.

Looks like a nice ride. I'm glad Addison could go along too. I used to do a lot of biking, but have been somewhat of a slacker lately. That is probably the reason for my aching back. I need to start it up again.
You better get some rides in over in Bear Lake before you move. Once your here, you, Ammon and Addison (and me) can go on some whenever you want.
