I am officially employeed at Mountainside Elementary as a Reading Aide. I will be helping those kids that struggle and need extra help with their reading. I will work 15-20 hours a week. Perfect! I hope to pop into my kids classrooms and volunteer where needed during the other times of the day. I am also in the PTA helping with the newsletter. This should keep me busy. Just what I was hoping for. It's going to be fun! My prayers were answered. NO more tears! ( for now )

Congrats! Heavenly Father does watch over us -- good thing he knows what's going on eh? :)
I hope you know my post titled "No tears here" was not intended to point any fingers. Yours is not the only blog with tears noted, there have been many(actually all that I"ve read) I was just stating my feelings on my blog.:)
Take care -- and ENJOY that job. You have the best of both worlds now!
Sounds like it will work out perfectly for you, the school, and family.
It does sound like you have a great principal. It makes a difference when you have great teachers that want to help and make school a great experience for parents.
Enjoy your year!

Alison that is great that all worked out with Ada and for you to be there at the school doing something you enjoy and being close to your own kids. I'm so excited for you. Good luck with it all!
No worries Megan- I didn't feel like I was being singled out. However, I am a baby! I own that! I think our whole family has a real sensitive side. It's a good thing. We show emotion more than most people I know. You'll get to my stage sooner than you know it and you will be a baby too I guarantee it! Enjoy your quiet moments!
congrats!! you'll be awesome for those kids. have fun. hope ada is having fun being a big first grader! :)
The Lord moves in mysterious ways. I see it all the time in my life and in the lives of my family. I hope we are always greatful for the blessings and the challenges. What a great choice your principal made. You will be an inspiriation to those who need it the most. We love our own and are concerned most for them, but they are all God's children and our brothers and sisters. You will be a great help to them and even more after you've finished your own schooling as planned.
We love you,
Dad
