Avery played his first game of basketball today. He did GREAT! I signed him up for Junior Mustangs without his full consent. He said that he didn't want to when I asked him, but is he ever glad that I did. He had a blast and really did a good job on defense stealing a few balls. He was able to get a few shots off and even made one. He told me after the game on the way home " I want to play basketball every grade. That's okay by me. He may be my athlete in the family. Ada's good friend from her class is on Avery's team. I didn't sign Ada up, she seems to fragile and girly right now. I better toughen her up! No- she can be the ballerina!~
I chose the #23 for Avery because of Michael Jordan. There were limited numbers. It turned out that his team is the "BULLS".

Avery will do GREAT. He is fast and coordinated and I can see him wearing #23. He will enjoy it and the exercise will do him good. Learning a little about team work never hurt anybody in this life either. Way to be Avery!!!!
Isn't it great to see your child do well?! Now THAT brings tears for me. Great job Avery!!:)
