Happy Fathers Day!

Happy Fathers Day! We have enjoyed this day as we celebrated the Fathers in our lives. I am grateful for each one of them. My own Father is a wonderful example of what all Fathers should aspire to be. He is kind, loving, honest, hard-working, spiritual, unselfish, humble, accepting, thoughtful........ (need I go on). There are too many great qualities that my dad holds to name all of them. Let's just say that I am blessed to be his daughter. I probably caused the majority of those beautiful gray hairs on his head (probably all), and he loves me still. Thanks dad for your patience with me and for being the greatest Father any Child of God would hope for here on earth.
I love you very much!

We were blessed to have both of our fathers over for dinner, plus the missionaries.

I am grateful for Ammon's father too! He has to put up with us living close. We often run to his house to borrow this and that, the kids escape there to get away from their mom. He is a good friend to Addison especially. They spend so much time rock, fossil hunting and hunting for rabbits. They are good company for each other. Thanks Bonka Don for being there for us and teaching my children by your example. We love you.

Last but not least, There is the father of my children, Ammon. He is the greatest. He has provided so well for our family. He has taught them so many things and Addison is already his "mini-me". He is the best husband I could ever hope for. He has tolerated me for almost 16 years now. I am not the easiest to live with and he has done it very patiently. I hope to spend another 60 years together. My children will be forever blessed because of his influence. Happy Fathers Day. I love you!

Thanks for all the kind words and acts of kindness to me over the years. It is not difficult to have a great Father's Day, when one has children like your Mom and I do. You show your love to us by the way you lead your lives, and care for one another, but most especially that you not only love your earthly Dad, but recognize that you also have an eternal Father in Heaven, whose love is incomprehensible to me, but which I know sustains us and empowers us as we strive to live as we should. I love my family very, very much. You are a wonderful gift to me from our Father in Heaven. You all have a wonderful mother, who has shouldered much of the reponsibility of nurtutring you when you were young and loving you all unconditionally as you have come to have families of your own. My heart swells to overflowing, when I contemplate the blessing you all are to me, and I cannot begin to express the fullness of the love I feel for each of you who call me Dad or Grandpa. I only hope I can measure up to my end of the bargain and contribute something of value yet in my declining years.
Thanks for bringing such joy to my life.

Love always,
Dad/Grandpa Bart
