My Addison

It seems like lately that I have missed many photos with my son Addison. His age has left us at different stages lately. He spends a great deal of his time with his dad working, biking and scouting which usually means that I am not there to capture the moments. He is growing up so fast and he is a great young man. I love him very much and have been so impressed with his dedication to save his money and think about his future. He is planning on signing up for the Civil Air Patrol up to USU soon. We have a conflict with the day being the same time as Young Mens, so we will get going as soon as the new year rolls in and the days change. He has also got his papers printed out and is working on applying to work at Aspen Ridge this next summer. He continues to do well with both his piano and violin where he is involved at school as well as an elite group of performers in the valley. He has his goals and is following through. We are so proud of him. We love you Addy!

You are right. Addison is a great young man. No doubt about it. It seems as they grow older they are harder to keep up with or even get them to let you take a picture of them. The Civil Air Patrol thing sounds like a great adventure and a wonderful learning experience. Time conflicts are a part of life. It seems like I've spent half my life trying to figure out how to be in two places at the same time. I've decided that it beats sitting around complaining that life is boring, which it definitely is not. Our boys have gained and grown so much from Scout Camp and scouting in general. It will be a good experience for Addison too, if that's what he wants to do.
We love him and all of you very much and pray for the best for you all always.

Love,

Grandpa Bart
