St. George 2009

This is the pool in Coral Canyon by our Condo. It was fun, cool and empty. The town was pretty quiet. We were smart and headed down there earlier in the week. The rush was to come. We had the place to ourselves.

The pool at the Rec. Center was the same. We were the only ones swimming with the exception of a couple retired folk. The kids had a blast. We played there up until the wind started to gust. It was just the right amount of time. Here is the house we stayed in and the bike trail by it that we rode to the parks and the pool.
We headed to the other side of town to a trail called "Bear Claw Poppy". I dropped Ammon and Addison at the top and they rode down with the wind at their backs. I met them down the bottom a few miles away. They came down with smiles on their faces sayin" That was SO fun". Being the nice mom I am, I offered to take them back up for another run. The wind was pretty strong, so I sat in the car with Avery because he has a FEAR of WIND. Ada and I did venture out at the bottom for a hike to catch the boys in action. It looked like a great trail.

I would have to say that the best part of the trip was just being together. Yes, we saw some teasing, yes- there was some whining, yes-there was some "Are we there yet's?". But I loved every minute of it. I love Ammon for taking time out of his schedule to make sure that the family has some time out together and that we feel important. I love that Addison and Ammon have fun biking together. I love that my two little ones still want to play together. I love that I get to see all the beauties of Utah. I truley am grateful for where we are and what we enjoy.

Great Trip! Until next time!

Sounds like a lot of fun in the sun with the best of friends/family. We are glad you could go and that you got home safely.

Love you all,
