Back from the Bahamas

We're back from our Cruise to the Bahamas. We ported out of Port Canaveral ( an hour away from Orlando). We set sail on Friday and headed for Nassau Bahamas. The skies were cloudy and the winds were present. Nevertheless, we moved on. Once we reached Nassau, we hit the shops and taxied over to the Atlantis Hotel area. We spent a few hours playing on the beach......Taking photos for the upcoming Sports Illustrated Swim Suit Edition (HA!)We snuck into the Atlantis Hotel and checked out there facilities and their aqaurium. We saw some cool fish, sting rays and sharks. We enjoyed our evenings dressing up and spending them with our friends. We ate plenty of food and laughed about the silliest of things.

We had a few hours between when our ship docked and our flight, so we went to some nearby land in the Everglades for an airboat excursion. We were on search for the infamous Florida Alligators. We saw two . This time of year is cooler and they tend to stay in areas that are warmer. We had a blast skipping through the water. The boat ride alone was worth it.

We ( they...not me) even ate a basket full of breaded Alligator.

After our long flights home, we were anxious to get to our sweet little angels. Our poor Ada has had a bad ear infection and is now recovering from a bursted ear drum.

We are glad to be home and are ready to go again soon.... any tag alongs?

You already have your blog up. I need to get going. I made a disc for you of my pics. I need to get a few pics from you too. We had so much fun! We will have to do it again. Hopefully sooner than later! It was fun to get to know you and Ammon better.

We're glad you had a good time and got home safely. I'm sure the kids were glad to have you back home. A little break to sunnier climes never hurts, especially in Inverted Cacge Valley.

Love you all and always,

Grandpa Bart
