Happy Birthday Addison

Today was by big boy Addison's 14TH birthday. To celebrate we took him out to dinner last night and he picked out his own presents. He chose to have a new scripture case, and some new shoes. Rachel also added to the pot with a new tie and some fun collectible airplanes to go with his many others. Grandma and Grandpa Eborn came over for our version of a "Costa Vida" dinner. I would have to say that it tasted pretty darn close to the original. It was good. To top it off we sliced up some cake and served it
along side his favorite ice cream.... Lemon Custard. It is hard for me to really think that I have a 14 year old. I get feeling really old and wonder where the time has gone. It definitely stands as a reminder that I need to make the most of these last few, yes I said "few" years that I have left teaching and nurturing him. He will be on his mission in a blink of an eye. I feel that he a great young man. He was set apart by Ammon today. He is now in the Teachers Quorum. He served as the Deacons President and I think he will be hard to replace. He did a great job following through on his assignments and being a good example to the other boys.
I think he is excited to move on.
We love you Addison and appreciate your goodness and your desire to choose right in all you do. You are a wonderful son and we are extremely blessed to be called your parents. All I ask is for you to PLEASE SLOW DOWN!!!!!! I need more time with you. And besides, I am too young to have such an oldie for a child.

Love you! Happy Birthday!

We are glad to see Addison growing up to be such a great young man. Time really does fly by. Make every day count and continue to enjoy and teach him by word and deed. We love you Addison. Enjoy life.

Happy Birthday Addison! We had a party here for Aunt Rene on the 7th too. I guess the 7th really is a lucky day!

Did you make the cake? You are so talented, I wouldn't be surprised at all. I have a 14 year old too - so I know exactly how you are feeling! It really is hard to watch time fly by!
