Letter From Ada

A couple of weeks ago, I sat down and wrote each of my kids a letter. The letter just expressed my love for them and all the wonderful things that I notice and appreciate them for. I gave them to each of them and hopefully they will keep them and look back at them from time to time. It triggered a response from my sweet Ada. I wanted to scan it and post it directly, but she wrote it faintly in pencil. I will just rewrite it word for word here so that I can forever remember it.

Dear Mom,

Thank you for the nice letter! I wanted to write this letter because I haven't wrote you a letter in a long time. I'm soo glad you are my mom! You are always so very nice to me. You will always care about me. I love you so very much. I'm glad you work at the school. Life would not be normal without you here. You're a kind mom. I'm glad I'm your daughter. I wish I could stay this age forever so you could always hold me. I'm glad that you gave me birth and no one else. You are nice enough to care about me and buy me toys.

Love, Ada

I hope she will always feel that way about me. I know that I am the luckiest mom in the world to have kids that love me as much as I love them.
