Ammon has made it back from another Alaska Fishing trip. As always, he had a lot of fun and the fishing was good. They caught mostly Salmon and Rock Cod. They ate all the Rock Cod while they were there. They (Ammon) cooked it up for Fish Tacos in the evenings.
They put fish scraps in buckets in front of their cabin in hopes to allure Eagles and possibly bears. Sure enough a mama bear and two cubs found their way and enjoyed the leftovers. The eagles also were all over. Ammon said that he would bet that there were Thousands of them. Pretty cool, since it is rare to see one around our area.
They even saw a bear that was hanging out in the nearby trees. They cut, and packaged a lot of fish and brought it home with them. I am sure many will enjoy the fish as I am sure we will not eat it all ( me, not at all).

We are glad that he is home and hopefully I can get them to stop planning this yearly trip on my anniversary. It's just not the same celebrating it with a can of paint. We have been married 17 years. I feel like such an oldie. Here's to another 17 +. Love you Ammon, I am glad you had fun. But, even more glad you are home.

My brother Boone was fishing last week in Alaska too! Looks beautiful amazing the bears and eagles. Jason would love it.
Glad he is home safe and sound with you all.
I'm sure the people that live next to the cabin appreciate them drawing in bears.
That would be so much fun. I guess, Ill have to settle for some good fresh salmon from Smith's once in a while. We too are glad that he had a good time and got home safely. Where we've been Stephen has been shooting bears with rubber bullets to get them to leave. Of course, he has the approval of the Colorado Wildlife Department.
Love you all and always,
Gramdpa Bart
I am glad they are home too. Casen kept saying DAD everyday like 100 times. I was so glad to have him home, so Casen will stop obsessing over his daddy!
