Avery's Class at school was fortunate to work with a student at USU on an art assignment. They painted seasons in nature. They took three weeks painting these murals. It took many steps for the kids. They learned many things about this process and they discussed the birds, use of colors for each season and then were assigned into teams to be in charge of a season. Avery's team did the summer season. The school celebrated their work of art with an unveiling ceremony yesterday. Avery was so excited to show me what he had worked on. They showed us a slide show before hand that showed the kids working , etc. Avery was in many of the pictures with such a happy smile on his face. You could tell that he was in his element. He loves art and really is rather good at it. Anyway, Avery was given the task of the grass, water and the little goslings in the corner. He also did the leaves on the branches. The cool thing about this is that it is a permanent fixture now on the wall at the school and his name will forever be on a plaque next to it as one of the artists.

Very cool project. I still think the USU Teaching program is very good. They have great projects and capstones.
