Cruise-In Youth Fundraiser

For three years in a row... we have participated in our wards Youth Fundraiser. We always sell hot dogs and hamburgers at the Cruise- In at the fairgrounds. It is a lot of fun. Ammon was on the grill, Addison wrapped the food, while I took the orders. We have fun visiting and being with different members of our ward. The youth use the money earned for their camps and equipment. It is always a success and it helps show the kids that they probably don't want to be flipping burgers for their careers at the same time.

We were in the booth outside of the fairgrounds stadium, so we got to enjoy the BEACH BOYS as we worked. Ammon told me that it was our anniversary present... a concert and a meal ( we got a free burger for working there...whoopee!) HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
Our anniversary really isn't until next Friday. He will be in Alaska all next week , so we will see if we celebrated it or not. It may just be the concert and free burger!

It looks like we just sat around with our hands in our pockets, but we actually did work. I just took these pictures during our down time.

I remember the good old days at the
fair stand in Montpelier. We had a
lot of fun working together there.
It was a lot of work but I think
the members of the ward enjoyed
working together and laughing
together also. It's good to see
that big smile on Addison's face.
Glad you had that time together.

Love you all,
Mom
