Busy!

Just updating......  Life is busy.

Ammon
- Provider- still keeping busy working hard and providing for our crew.

- Service- serving as the Priest advisor/scout leader and all the boys LOVE him.

- Biker- been able to enjoy a few bike rides here in the valley the past couple of weeks.

- Creator- he and Addison are taking on a new project of building a pump track for biking in our back yard.

- Maintenance- painting our garage floor, yard work, garden, helping me......etc.

Boyfriend- He is faithful about taking me out on Friday nights for out weekly date.

- Father- Loves his kids, teaches them to work and keeps them doing jobs to earn our trip to "PROVO" in October.

Me
- Working everyday at Mountainside Elementary ( LOVE IT!)

-Volunteer- I love working in Adas class each morning for about 45 minutes helping with math. I go there before I clock in for work.  Works out perfect.

- Student -taking two courses at USU.  Loving my FCHD class, but could pass on my Art class. I am spending a lot of time studying, reading, testing, visiting museums, theaters, etc...... Aside from USU,  I feel like I am taking AP European History too!  Addison is in this course at Mountain Crest and it is a big deal of work that I get to help with often.

- Cubmaster of a bunch of cute little rascals.  I always stress a couple of days before pack night (tomorrow). I always feel like I am putting on a production.  I wouldn't mind if it was only kids.

- Chauffeur -Running kids to piano, dance, scouts, activity days, cross country meets and practice, Youth 2000, parades( all done for now), etc.......

- Mother- best job in the world. Teaching, loving, listening, snuggling, helping, playing, comforting, ........ THE BEST!!!!!

-FIT? and HEALTHY?- trying to exercise a few days a week.  It is getting harder and harder as I find myself having less and less time.   ZUMBA is a regular must. I have also gone on quite a few Mnt. Bike rides the past few weeks.  I have taken a couple of spills.  Ammon thinks it's cool.  I am a real biker chick if I can tumble with the rest of them and get right back up.  Our last ride was up Providence Canyon on an impulse ride. We headed up about 7:00 one evening and ended up coming back down the trail in the dark.  NOT RECOMMENDED!  I hit a stick on the path and it flipped me over the handle bars.  All good, no injuries ( Just my pride).

Addison
-Runner- He is doing awesome with his cross-country meets.  He trains daily running anywhere from 2- 9 miles a day.  He improves his time each race and loves it.

-Student- Busy with school work every single night.  AP European History keeps him busy as well as Algebra II.

-Duty- Addison is the Teacher Quorum President.  He always does his duty with a willing heart.  He faithfully arrives at church 30 minutes early to prepare the sacrament usually all by himself.  We had to even bring water from home for a month due to the well having issues.

-Scout- Addison has completed all the requirements to receive his Eagle Scout.

-Driver-  Completed Drivers Ed.  Has his drivers permit and will soon be driving the Expedition as he helps me run the kids around.

-Musician?-  Takes piano lessons twice a month working on HYMNS.  He is plugging away at it and will continue up until his mission ( Because I said so...:) )

-Biker- loves going on rides with his dad, watching biking videos, looking up bikes, building the bike track,etc......

Avery
-Student- LOVES, LOVES, LOVES school.  Has a lot of friends and is seeming to be adjusting better than at the first of the month. He does great!  AND he's a smartie!

-Musician- Taking piano now for one year.  Is doing remarkable and practices faithfully. piano recital coming up!

-Leader- He and Ada are in the schools YOUTH 2000 group. It is a service oriented club that meets after school every Monday.

-Webelo- He is loving Scouts and I love being in the program while he is in it.  It makes Pack Nights more fun! He has earned 10 pins and is looking forward to his Arrow of Light in April and to join the big scouters. He can't wait to go snow caving!

-Dreamer!- He has his goals set on playing GOLF in High School.  Funny thing is that we don't play golf, but I guess it doesn't mean he can't.  Plans are to sign him up for lessons in the spring.

Ada

-Student- Also loving school and making lots of friends.  Busy with homework each night.

-Musician- Ada started Piano lessons this month.  She is catching on super fast and is already out of the first book.  She practices without being asked which is so nice.  She also has a recital coming up.

-Dancer- She is taking a fun JAZZ/Ballet class.  I like it because it is cheaper than most other classes, it's more fun, bubbly moves, less shake my booty stuff, and the outfits are cute and modest.

-Leader- She is in Youth 2000 also with Avery, they have a conference at BYU in November.

-Reader- She has read so many books this past summer and into school.  She can read 400+ pages a day just because.  She is a quick little thing.

-Creator

There is so much more that fills our days, so much that I tried to write this four different times and just now am getting around to finishing it.  BUSY PEOPLE are HAPPY PEOPLE!

One day I will have something worth capturing in pictures to post.  We are looking forward to our family trip to "Provo" for a week in October.  ( The kids have been working hard to earn this "SURPRISE" trip.  We have them convinced that we are going camping in "Provo", but in reality, they are in for a unforgettable getaway). We are SO EXCITED!!!!!!

Glad you guys are doing well. Your story sounds kind of like mine. :) I just wanted to say that Ryan is the AP European History teacher at Logan High, so if Addison ever needs help, he would be happy to help in any way he can. I hope school is going well for you. One day at a time. Right?
Love ya!
Sam

Glad you are staying busy and enjoying life. For some reason, it seems to go too fast for me now.
