Addison raced his first race of the season against another school last week. The sun was hot, the wind was moving. He took off at the strting line, ran through a subdivision and up some hills against the wind and back to the track. We just waited at the track to watch as he came in to the finish line. He did great. His time this race was 19:13. He wishes that it was a bit faster, but I had to remind him that everyone had to fight the wind which would definetly affect the time. He is loving it and is doing AWESOME!!!! I love watching him get excited about it. He is however addicted to shoes and wanting the best, lightest thing out there. He works hard and has paid for them, so I don't mind. He could buy things less useful, so it's all good. Good-Luck Addison this season. He has an invitational at BYU this Saturday. Run! Addison Run!

I have such respect for anyone that can run! Addison has determination. I can't you believe you have a child in High School???
That is an excellent time, especially for a freshman on a windy day. Good pictures too. Addison wil achieve and compete very well in this sport. And besides he will keep his body and mind physically fit.
