Ada and Avery are in the schools YOUTH 2000 ( Youth Council) and they are involved with this month's service project. They are collecting Change for Change. The change collected with be put to buying new shoes for kids that are in need of shoes.
Avery loved collecting the change and helping the kids sign their names on ornaments for the tree. He is a great kid with lots of love to give!
Ada and her friend Emmy were in charge of this mornings announcement. They wrote up this cute announcement all by themselves with individual parts and also parts together. Their catch phrase within the announcement was "SOLES for SOULS". They explained how by giving the "SOLES" (shoes) to those that need them would make them feel warm in their "SOUL" (heart). I thought it was pretty clever.
Ada is a great leader!

Thinking of others and serving them is truly what it's all about. We are glad the kids are leading out in these kinds of projects.
