I would have to say that Saturday Nights are my favorite nights! We started months back rotating the night to be designated as "someones" night. Each kid gets a night in the month and then the whole family gets the remaining Saturday. It has worked out pretty well. The kids really look forward to their night. They pick the place to eat and they get to be alone with mom and dad. It's fun! Last night was Avery's Night! He picked Golden Corall. It actually is quite good. The rolls especially. Avery filled up so much that he moaned and groaned the whole way home from discomfort. He is always so entertaining. He loves his spaghetti.

I know! I am never satisfied-something always bugs me (OCD).
That is a great tradition to have in your family. They will not always be around so close, and you are right, eventually all we have left are the memories. The good thing is that we choose now what kind of memories we will have then.
Jason and I use to do that with the boys when they were little, when I saw your little Avery man, it made me smile.... reminded me of Tanner - he use to love Golden Coral.
Once we got to Idaho... we started a thing were out of the blue someone (anyone of us) yells through the house "Blizzard Run" and we all run to the car and go to DQ. Even Scout.... the DQ thought it was so funny they started keeping dog bones to put in Scouts icecream.
Avery looks like he had a great time!
