Gavin has been pretending to be a bee all week, so I decided to let them all see how bees make honey. I took them to Cox's Honeyland where they have a live bee display. It shows them working hard making their honey. The kids were able to taste fresh honey and look for the Queen Bee. Garrett was a little hesitant- but I reassured him that the bees couldn't get out and that they wouldn't sting him. He replied, "Did they train them in three weeks not to sting people?" I said, "three weeks?" He then said, " ya, bees only live three weeks and then they die." " They would have to train new bees every three weeks." He is too smart! I can't keep up! He is going to be a great inventor or scientist of something. He amazes me with all that he knows and remembers. You're awesome Gar Bear!
