First day back to school for my boys. First day functioning for our new school Mountainside. It's 10:30 and my phone rings. Who is it? Well, I'll tell ya! It's Mountainside saying that Avery is hurt in the office. He had gotten stung by a wasp and it was hurting him. They wanted to know if he was allergic. Not that I know of. Man! Way to start off the school year! They had him lay down and put ice on it and then they said they would see how he was and then send him back to class. He'll be fine, I'm sure. But, what are the chances. I was already concerned about this day and then to be the first phone call home and the first kid to be hurt in the office- just our luck!
Hopefully the rest of the day is better.
