Our Sweet Avery was baptised today by his father. It was a special day. He was excited for it. We had a great support from our families. Thank you Jared's Family, Justin's Family, Philip's Family, Ryan's Family, Miriam's Family, Nate's Family, Naomi and precious Aleena and of course thank you to our great grandparents, for without you we wouldn't have the prior. Thank you for your example to me and for teaching me how important the gospel is. I am so proud of my Avery. We had a FHE lesson this week about baptism. Addison gave the lesson. I was so happy to witness the spirit of an elder brother teaching his little brother all that he knew about baptism. Avery answered the questions and understood the gift he was to receive which was the Holy Ghost. Today at his baptism, after the baptism, he was confirmed. Following, he skipped back to me with the biggest smile, giving me a great hug. I asked him if he has had a special day. He immediately expressed that he felt different. I asked him what he was feeling. He said he felt different, he felt happy. I told him it was because the Holy Ghost was with him and he was feeling the warmth and love. I then bore my testimony to the congregation. I truly do have a testimony and I am grateful for my Heavenly Father. I love the gospel, I absolutely love going to church each Sunday and renewing my covenants. It is rejuvenating.
Without it, I would be a mess.
I am so blessed. I have the best husband on the earth. He has to put up with so much being married to me. I am grateful for his patience, because I am SOOOO far from perfect. I am also so blessed to have the three wonderful children that I have. Each one carries many wonderful qualities that give me such joy. How did I become so deserving? What a wonderful day.Without it, I would be a mess.
Grandpa Bart and Bonka Don stood as witnesses at Avery's baptism. What a blessing.

After the baptism, we spent some quality time with our families. We had plenty of food- (thanks for all the contributions.) We visited, played and then the ladies went to the projects. I slacked in the picture taking, but we had scrapbookers, bow-makers, painters and visitors. The kids played and played. We had a great day. I love each one of them and would do anything for them. I loved watching the cousins catch up. You can never have too much family time.

Thanks for a llowing us to be a part of Avery's special baptism day. He is a special young man and we are so greatful that he has parents who love him and teach him the things most important to know. I appreciate all you do and are. Our lives would be but a shadow of what they are if it were not for family and the covenants we have made that bind us together eternally. I hope none of us ever lose track of what we are and what we should be.
Love you all and always,
Grandpa Bart
