Memorial Day Camping with Daugs Family

We went up Green Canyon Friday afternoon to camp with some of the Daugs Family. We had fun. The highlight was getting to hold the cutest twins ever!- Me nephews, Clint and Cole. I caught this shot and just had to share it. SOOOO CUTE!And Of course, there is the ever so fun and ever so sweet, ALEENA!! She was having a blast playing in the dirt next to the campfire. She was filthy! That's the fun of camping, who cares if you get dirty.

Here are a few of the misc. pictures of our time at camp. The kids kept themselves busy doing anything they could think of. Notice the shot of Avery pretending to catch the tree between the legs. THAT KID!

Addison set up the hammock in between two trees, and "slept" there for the night
( until he came in with us ) Note: Hammock in the dark all by your self- NO LIKEY!

Addison, Nate, Ammon and myself went on a few bike rides while there. Ammon put in about 40 miles, Addison 30 miles, Nate 12 miles and I did 8 miles all at different times. Ammon met up with his buddies on three different occasions to put some more miles on. He definitely had his work out for the day, as did Addison. I did pretty good. It was hard on the uphill for four miles, but the downhill makes up for it. Addison crashed twice, has some scratches and bruises, but loved every minute of it.

We rode an area that had a great jump that the "boys" hit over and over. I caught a couple of shots of them in the air. That was Addison's favorite part of the trail.

Me and Ada!

We rode up a mile or so to a creek and let the kids play in the COLD water.

I sure love the whole camping thing, however, I love my own bed too! I look forward to a better nights sleep tonight. We have church tomorrow and Addison is playing the Violin in Sacrament meeting. We're excited!

Megan-
The jewelry is evidence of running from work to the camping spot without time to change. I did change a short time after we got there. I knew that I would come across over dressed.

How fun. Camping was always a highlight for us when we were growing up. Those are some of my fondest memories. Hope you sleep better tonight!

Glad you like camping, I have done it but itis not my favorite time.
I guess because I didn't grow up
camping. Now the old bones don't
do well on the hard ground. Looks
like you had a lot of fun. Good
memories! Good looking people too!!

Love Mom

Looks so fun!! Makes me ALMOST wish we had come. Maybe one year--we'll see. VERY quick trip to Logan today--it was fun to see Ada and the kids play together for awhile. Let's play sometime soon this summer!!
