Fun Times with Family and Friends in SLC

The kids and I had a great day with many of our Family and Friends on Monday. We headed to SLC with the first stop being the Planetarium. The kids really loved it there. They enjoyed taking the quizzes about the Planets the most it seemed.

We then headed over to the Children's Museum where we met up with my sister in laws (Daugs side) , their kids and many of their friends. It was a heaven for the kids. My brother Jared joined us half way into it. It was great to see his little rugrats.

We played in the museum for a couple of hours and then headed to the oh so fun and oh so refreshing fountains outside the Gateway. The kids had a BLAST! They probably would have stayed there all day if I would have let them. We tried to get to the 4:00 showing in the IMAX (Thanks Jared for the tickets) , but got turned around in the parking garage which delayed us a bit. We missed the start by 5 minutes. My kids were NOT happy with me. You would thought that they had no fun the rest of the day, the way they acted.

The kids perked up as we went to Layton and met up with Megan, Libbie and Garrett for a while and then visited Jason and his family in Layton which then led to dinner at Chili's. We got home late, but really tried to make the most of our day with our families.
