Addison has joined the Civi lAir Patrol up to USU. He spends 2 1/2 hours up there every Wednesday and has had a great time. At times it can be physically hard and at other times, he is learning Respect, hard-work and honor for his fellowman and country.
We spent a few hours with him last night for Parents night. This was a chance for us to see what it is all about. I already had seen them in action because I am a hands -on mom and I spent a few days up there observing. Ammon and the kids came tonight and Addison was demonstrating the Physical Training area for the squadron. He is in his PTU's ( Physical Training Uniforms) . We will get more pics. of him in his Blues and Camo.
The picture below shows him in a "Bearing exercise" . He gets stared at, touched, bothered, etc. and his goal is to stay still and straight -faced. As you get broken down, you fall out. He stood great until second to the end to fall out.
We are proud of our son and his desires to serve our country one day. His goal is to get the best grades possible and be able to fly the fighter jets in the Air Force.
