Daugs Reunion 2010- Bear Lake

We spent four days in Bear Lake for a Daugs Reunion. It was so much fun and the weather could not have been better. We arrived on Sunday and just settled in, played games, ate and visited. We stayed at the USU training center in Garden City. It has mulitple rooms and four different bathrooms. Monday morning came and we ate and headed to the beach. We brought a Jet Ski, so we were anxious to be on the water.

The kids could not get enough turns being pulled on the raft. They held on better than we thought they would and even asked to get thrown off.
Addison enjoyed burying his brother Avery in the sand only leaving his head. Avery didn't mind. I know that I would be so claustrophobic. I
wouldn't like that at all. But, they had a good time.
We brought all of our bikes and took a bike ride one evening to the park and then to LaBeau's for a shake. We even stopped to look at a deer along side of the rode on our way back.
Aunt Rachel is always good to provide some activities for the kids. We helped the kids make their own Tye Dye shirts for a morning activity.
Rachel also brought her bubbles and let the kids play and make HUGE bubbles.
We also roasted Marshmellows one EARLY evening. I wanted to do it before it was dark so that the kids could go to sleep and we could have some adult time. The kids didn't care. All they cared about was playing in the fire and eating tons of marshmellows.
The adults played a version of Minute to Win it. ( Twice actually, because we had two different groups come to the Training Center). This is some shots of us trying to get a cookie in our mouth starting from our forehead and using no hands. It is tricky. You should try it.

Ofcourse, the kids wanted to do it too, so we let them do it the next morning. Ada and Avery did so good at blowing cups off of a table and picking up cottonballs with their noses using vaseline. They had to take them to the end of the table and drop them in. We played on the beach, in the water and on the Jet Ski for three days. It was a great break from everyday life. I always love Bear Lake.
The girls broke out the nail polish and had a painting party. All the little girls just loved it!

We had so much fun and I can't wait to do it again. I even got the chance to instruct a ZUMBA class for many of the girls. We had a few musical glitches, but it was fun. I would love to do that again. THANKS Naomi and Miriam for organizing this and including us. We had a wonderful time.

At least your kids can't say they
didn't have any fun this summer.
That's a nice place to have a
reunion. Just one question, Ammon
where is your tan, man? Glad no one
was hurt and all had a great time.

Love Mom

So bummed that we missed it! Hot and humid in Orlando, but Nathan LOVED Harry Potter destination, at Universal.
