Ammon and Addison are heading to Saint Charles Canyon next week for a scouting trip. In preparation, we headed up there to let them do the biking trail in advance. I dropped them off at Bloomington Lake and they rode through the hills to Saint Charles Canyon.
We got to the ending spot before them and killed time by playing in the freezing creek. It was so very pretty up there. It made me want to really go camping. Lucky boys!
Avery and Ada used their imaginations to keep busy. They made slingshots with branches to shoot off sticks and rocks. It was a fun outing in the most beautiful setting.
I love and miss Bear Lake.

I'm glad you find Bear Lake a good place to be. I'm the same way. My roots run deep, I guess.
It looks like the kids had fun and the bike trip was nice too. It is a pretty place.
