It's hard to believe that I have a son old enough to start dating. He just turned 16 in March and his first date is tonight. Well, technically he took his date out last night as they do a day date the day before the dance. He got all snazzied up and smelling good for his first Junior Prom. He asked a cute girl from our ward. I keep asking him if he is nervous, but he kept telling me that he wasn't, he was excited! He has some good friends and I know he will have a lot of fun. They are going to take pictures ( one of the other moms) before the dance, so I hope to post those soon so that we can get a shot with all the cute girls with his friends. I could follow him around all night to get the pictures, but I think that might embarrass him a bit.
Off to pick up their dates!

What a handsome young man!!!!!
Those 16 years sure went by fast.
Just think my oldest will be 45
this July. I remember his first
prom, he didn't go until his
senior year and then I had to beg
him to go. I never went to a
school dance and I didn't want him
to miss out, I'm glad he let me
talk him into going. I hope Addison
will have a good time, we will look
forward to seeing his pictures.
Another milestone in his life.
Love Grandma Iris
I'll bet they had a great time. I remember my first date. We rode the school "activity bus" to and from the dance. I'm not sure we were very loud either and if we were it was with all of the other kids on the bus. We did sit on the same bench seat in the bus though. No wonder I've always been so backward.
Addison, is a great young man. He is fortunate to have like minded friends and supportive parents.
Love you all forever,
Grandpa Bart
