This summer has been especially hot, but the kids still need to be able to run outside and enjoy the summer days. We decided that we could play at Merlin Olsen Park for a while and cool off in the water when it became too hot. Avery was the only one that braved going all the way in the freezing water.

We've sruggled a bit with the heat also this summer. I guess it's a pride thing, but I can't quite bring myself to get in my swimming suit and head for the water at Merlin Olsen Park. Oh, to be young again. I've got noreal grounds for complaint though, do I?
