This is my
dad! It is his birthday! May 29
th, 1940 was the year. He was born in a small log cabin (home) resting in a field in
Lanark, Idaho. He was a breech baby and made it through a rough delivery without the great technologies of today. As you can tell, he is a great sight to behold. He is one of my best friends. I don't know what I would do without him. He is always there to talk to, to work with and to count on. He is every example one would want to follow. He is such a spiritual powerhouse, a patient and selfless soul. I love that he loves my mother beyond measure. He never fails to compliment her and express his love for her in word and deed. He has taught us the word "
love". Our family always said
"I love you" as we grew up. It was the most common phrase used around our house.
Of course, we were far from a perfect family and we still are working on it, but
LOVE has and always will be the glue that keeps us strong. He would do anything for any one of us regardless of the sacrifice he may have to make.

Because you were born 69 years ago, we have each other and are who we are.
Thank you for all you do for us.
I CAN NEVER TELL YOU ENOUGH
how much I LOVE YOU!

Thanks for the kind words, I'll try to measure up. I love you all so very much. Age is beginning to take its toll, but I will aways be greatful for every life experience and every one who has touched my life.
Yes, Happy Birthday to Bart. We love you very much.
Great post Alison.
