I was able to head to Las Vegas for a three night retreat with some girls. It was good to get away and let Ammon take the kids. We stayed at the Luxor Hotel ( the Pyramid). It was neat. It is pretty cool how they can design and make such amazing buildings. All of them are overwhelming. We enjoyed eating out, laying by the pool for a couple of days, shopping at the outlets and visiting the site of "Pawn Stars". It is a show on the History Channel that our Husbands and even we like to watch. It is filmed in Vegas. We went on Saturday, so we didn't meet the guys in the show. They only work M-F. We did see some of the items that we saw in episodes. It was pretty cool. It is a lot smaller than I thought it was though.
All in all we had a great time. Glad to be back to the kids and hubby's too!
