Back to School 2011

Addison isn't a fan of pictures, but I need them, so he got captured regardless. This is getting ready for our morning prayer. We are lucky this year because Addison is now going to Mountain Crest which means he can ride to school with his friend and neighbor in his car to school. No more getting on the bus @ 6:45. He leaves around 7:30 now. That gives us a chance to have our family prayers all together. Usually, we have to say them separate because Avery and Ada were still sleeping. I am so glad now that we can all be present at the same time to do it together each morning.

Addison is our BIG 10th Grader! YIKES!!!! He is excited. He gets to enter the crowded halls of Mountain Crest High School. He is sharing a locker with his friend Benson ( a Senior). So, that means he is up in the senior hall. That can either be good or bad. He may get picked on or they may just think he is a senior too- Who knows. He is a good kid, so he is surely to make and keep good friends. Love you Addison!

Avery is in his last year of Elementary School. He is our 5th Grader this year. He has been anxious and ready to go for a while. He has always loved school and does really well. I hope that I can make the most with him this year as it will be his last year in the school with me, Kinda sad. I love my zoober!

Ada Maria- my sweet little girl, isn't so little anymore. Well, she is still smaller than most of her friends where she is younger than all of them, but she is growing up way too fast. I love her so much and can't believe that she is now in 4th grade. I don't want this stage to end. I will miss having them close to me a work. She is also excited to go back. She and Avery are in the YOUTH 2000 group in school together which will require more work and time, but I am glad that they are doing it together and get the opportunity.

I go back to teaching next week as well as going back to learning. I will be taking two online courses at USU. I will be busy…….I am anxious and nervous. Wish me luck!

It is nice to have summer and do
fun things together, but it is nice
to get back into a routine. I'm
happy that you are going to finish
your degree. They look happy to be
going back to schol and seeing
all their friends. I can't believe
they are growing up so fast either.
Cute smiles from them all. Let me
know if Dad & I can help in any
way, we love you all.

Love, Mom

There are some lucky teachers out there. They get to teach my grand kids. I miss school myself, but then I guess there is a time and aseason to all things. You'll do well, Alison. Being busy is agood thing. Just take one day at a time.

Love you all and always,

Grandpa Bart

Sounds like the first week of school has gone well, the kids look great! I love the photo of Avery looking back from the bus.

I am sure you will do great with your classes! Good for you.
