When it rains, it pours! We had a busy day of running around. We had school, work and then Piano lessons in Wellsville, followed by Soccer games in Mendon and then a concert in Hyrum. Thank goodness for two vehicles and a helpful husband. It is hard to be in more than one place at a time, although I know that most of you somehow magically do it.

Avery had his second game of this new Soccer Season. I get the chance to help coach. It has been really fun. Avery played hard and ran fast. He was fortunate to score one of the two goals made during this game. The game tied 2-2.
Avery always wants to be the goalie, so he got his turn for a quarter. He made some excellent blocks and then drop kicked the ball really far. Way to go Zoobie!
We rushed from Mendon to get to Addison's Symphony Concert in Hyrum. His performance was at Mountain Crest High School. He did great and were as always grateful that he has chosen such a wonderful path to learn with his interests. He plays the piano and violin very well and now wants to expand his instruments to the guitar, so we are going to let him. I am excited. We hope to start him in some private lessons with a friend that we know.
Watch out! We have a musician on our hands.
I hadn't even slowed down enough to eat lunch or dinner, so I made Ammon stop at McDonald's in Hyrum ( GROSS!) and eat. Never mind that it was already after 9:00 p.m. and the kids were needing to go to bed. I needed food! We ate and drove home. The kids ran in the house, brushed their teeth and headed to bed. I quickly followed and as I always do, checked on them all before hitting my bed. I looked in on the boys first and found Addison holding his stuffed animal "Floppy". Addison is 13 years old now and it has been a long time since he snuggled his dog, but there he was. It made me laugh. Avery was next and he is always snuggling "Cuddles", so there was no surprise there. I left the room and went to Ada. Ada was too snuggling her dog "Muffin". She rarely does that. I had to get the camera and snap them all. They conked out so fast and to catch them all doing this at there different ages just made me love them even more.
It was so precious in my sight.

Your family is just too "cool". And you are great parents keeping them all involved and happy. I can't fault any of them for going to sleep snuggling their stuffed animals either. We were glad t least to make it to Addison's concert. Heck, if we'd of known we might have made it to everything, that is EXCEPT the Hyrum McDonalds.
Love you all and always.

Sounds crazy as usual but well worth it. I love the pictures of the kids and the dogs so cute. See you soon.
Addison isn't the only 13 year old that sleeps with a stuff animal! :) Haha...yes I do! Looks like you did have one busy day!!
Great photos of the sleeping children. A new parent the other day asked me if I had any words of advice for them.. I thought for a moment and then said...
Take time to always go to their events, laugh, and take lots of pictures because the grow in the blink of an eye...
Looks like you nailed all three in your busy night.
We call McDonalds "McPukes" but, on days like that, thank goodness for the drive thru!
Avery is getting so big.
